I really admire the consult, their style of work is very similar to what I aim to achieve; good concepts executed really simple but is really effective.
They also specialise in the areas that i'm very interested in; Branding, publication/print (or literature as they call it) and exhibition. This reassures me as I was beginning to feel a little worried that I was trying to be good at too much.
Really good concept of 'stacking' the letters. Again really simple but has a massive impact and the attention to the typography really makes it.
Die cutting, something that you wouldn't necessarily think to use on stationary. Works really well with the bold orange coming through. The fold of the letter has been taken into consideration, something I had never thought about. Colour is definitely something I need to be looking more into.
Style guides, something I still havent done even though I've done loads of branding. I think it's important that I introduce myself to this in one of my upcoming briefs.
Photography, something I haven't really used much in my work. I always struggle to make it sit right with the type. I think it could be an interesting challenge to maybe do a look book as one of my briefs, or something where I work with a lot of photography.
Exhibition/space graphics. I felt like I didn't push my last Jason Munn exhibition brief to it's full potential and feel like I still have a lot to explore.
