Tracy Identity

Brief
Create a logo and apply to a range of stationary for nail and beauty artist, Tracy Buckberry

Tracy - stationery

Tracy didn't mention a compliments slip when I spoke to her, and I'm beginning to wonder whether she actually needs one. Will obviously speek to her about it, but just incase have mocked up another layout without it.

Final stationery set.

Final stationery set for Tracy Buckberry including letterhead, compliments slip, envelope, business card, appointment card and pen.

Still not 100% on colour, I think it works, but not sure if it fits Tracy's profession well. I definitely think the two colours, although similar, add a lot more interest. I've emailed this image off to her to see what she thinks anyway.

Colour experiments.

I've always kept to one colour in my stationery designs, in fact in the majority of my work, and I've been wanting to play around with adding in another colour, just for my own experimentation really. So i've been putting together possible colour swatches for the Tracy beautician stationery.

As I won't be printing these before the deadline, and just mocking them up digitally, the grey swatch is the background colour.

Letterhead & compliments slip development

Appointment card development.

Final business card.

In order to keep this brief short, I've had to make quick decisions with the design direction.

Logo tweeks.

Taken off the flick on the end of the 'y', it just seemed unnecessary.

Tracy Buckberry - Logo development

Considering Tracy is a beautician, my initial chiose of font didn't seem to fit her profession well. So, I thought I'd have a look at a script font - something I've always steered quite cleer of, but think it's appropriate for this brief.

Tracy Buckberry - Brief

New brief?

I was contacted today about doing some branding for a friend of the family.

As much as I would love to do this brief, it is a little too late to be starting something new. I am only going to do it if I have the time, and if I do I don't want it going on for any longer than a day.

Deliverables would be logo, business card, letterhead and complements slip.
