Tutorial with Joe

Had my tutorial with Joe this afternoon.

Raised a couple of issues I'd had with the design context publication - he said to refer back to my concept of simplicity and do just that.

He suggested having just images and only the client and designer information rather than trying to pack loads of information in about the designer. I definitely agree and think that this will make my concept much stronger.

Having shown Joe a few of my earlier briefs, there was a few things he picked out with the End of Year Show proposal. He suggested that to make the concept stronger to bring through the arrows that I'd used on the foyer onto the promotional leaflet and VIP invite. I realised it made sense as I had already used it in the signage too, and it would add to effect of opening it to reveal whats inside.

I definitely want to do this, but I feel that I have a lot on with other briefs, so it will be something to do if I have the time towards the end.

Overall, Joe feels I'm on the right track, and am in a good position in terms of getting briefs completed. Just need to get cracking with the design context publication.
